Got one of these on their way from Japan, offering the same deal on it as the first two I sold. Price is $250 Buyer is to send payment and pick a colour. I'll order an EL strip and inverter of that colour and take apart the panel to install, then send it out. Here's the first I did, blue for Dave Watson: Second, for Dean (bRACKET) and my car: -A
That is correct but you will lose the red 300ZX when not lit as this needs to be scratched off for light to transmit through from the sheet, the only way I am afraid
There is a guy on ebay UK doing these for 130 delivered.......Just saying http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ILLUMINA...arParts_SM&hash=item1e6f353a65#ht_1522wt_1185
I do actually, the Altia's have a plastic template inside that goes over the 300ZX and this causes that light spill over on the outside of the logo, you could say a touch untidy, whereas the ebay linked one is finished very sharply Back to the link, no where does the seller state that it is genuine
And the Altia Illuminated sills dont fit 100% like the OEM plastic ones do. $250 for an Altia Garnish is a small price to pay however for Genuine over reproduction...... just sayin
sif you'd change it to anything other than the OEM green. Your argument is invalid my good man To make it a little more constructive- Genuine panels are going on yahoo for, on average $100. You might get one cheaper. Gone are the days of getting a brand new 1 for $40. You've gotta add commissions, shipping, fees etc to that..... comes out to around $200 landed. Then, there is no guarantee that it works, and if by chance it does, how long for? Source yourself an EL strip and Inverter..... say $30, then spend a few hrs disassembling the panel and changing it out, hoping you dont stuff the panel in either stages of the process. Admittedly, there is the cheaper option of fitting an EL strip to your non-genuine panel. Opinions vary on the illumination differences. I'm in personal preference to the Altia look.
the buyer is welcome to choose OEM green, I personally don't prefer it and so far this is my foruth panel I've fitted up, with no green done. you are very much correct sir, it is not you I was commenting at! panel is sold pending payment after arrival, thank you fellas.
2000 spec center panels may have a different glue used. They are alot harder to get into. Be patient with 2k's, they tend to split/break when trying to separate. I learnt the hard way.
Yes this is very true and I can confirm - a very stubborn goo indeed The older panels just fall apart in comparison
