Touch Up Paint

Was wondering if someone could please let me know the colour code for a 1989 metallic black 300zx so that I can get some youch up paint. Also has anyone used touch up paing on their Z, any tips, advice?

732 is the black metallic paint code, it should be written on one of those plates in the engine bay.

 

Sounds like yours is indeed 732, but to check...Look in door jamb or engine bay:





Go smoothly and slowly if doing it yourself. Will need a steady hand, patience and clear coat at least 30mins later for it to look barely noticeable, I found when I did it years ago, I rushed the last few ones and regretted it.
