The 1993 model onwards had an Electric Actuated HICAS System which is why you don't see the hydraulic servo on the right side inner guard. All TT's have HICAS!
Thread dig... So is there actually any licensed 2000 spec zeds in Aus that anyone knows about? If there was, what would they be worth?
Yes...there are apparently a few in VIC...obviously not registered as 2000 model zeds...apparently Blipman or an old member imported a few of them before the laws changed... Most recently Rod mentioned his friend imported one...but noboody saw any pics Abraham
Two that I've heard of. One owned by the owner of an importing company and a white one brought in recently to Victoria.
my mate brought one in, the one everyone is talking about. its a 2k model zed. white, posted a pic ages back but havent taken more its too sad he stripped it down, taking all the good parts and put it into a 94 shell for god knows what reason and is still in the middle of doing it. anyone in vic keen to see it are welcome to view it, @ the import hub in nunnawadding. and it cost him 19,000 delivered.
well for one, atleast it is manual but nah, a car he could never register and one already rego'd, took engine interior and all the other goodies he could and transferred. seemed ok, shame to see the shell go to waste though

yeah he very much could kirill, but he didnt want to take the risk, i can see where he is coming from, but i dont understand his reasoning for buying genuine 2k just to destroy it. i mean headlights / interior / side skirts + front bar / tailights + engine and gearbox etc does add up though but eh! i would have done it differently. that said, when are you back into a zed, not the same without you old friend.
Could be fairly soon, going to sell the s14 and go from there Hopefully you'll be terrorizing the roads with the gunmetal beauty by then, would be good to go for a cruise! Cheers, Kirill
