Unorthodox Racing 300ZX Pulley Set (4pc) with Overdrive Water Pump Pulley and Belts Name: Unorthodox Racing 300ZX Pulley Set (4pc) with Overdrive Water Pump Pulley and Belts Price: $409.99 Description: Unorthodox Racing pulley for the 1990-1996 300ZX Twin Turbo/Non Turbo. UR pulleys will add 22-24HP for a Twin Turbo, and 16-18HP for a non turbo. These are by far the best bang for the buck. The complete 4 piece pulley set comes with Crank, Alternator, Overdrive Water Pump, and Power Steering Pulley. All pulleys come with Genuine Gates Belts(which are shorter, and are not stock sized belts). The Unorthodox Racing Overdrive Water Pump Pulley was designed to compensate for Underdrive pulleys. Underdrive pulleys slow down water pumps and can cause overheating. This upgrade is only recommended for vehicles running underdrive pulleys, do not use this upgrade with a regular sized water pump pulley. Does anyone have any more information on these ? is there any fitment issues or performance issues i should be worried about ? i have heard that if you dont do ALL of them you can have problems but otherwise ive only really heard good things ?
I don't see any issues with only running the crank pulley. Good time to do it now and get it balanced to the rest of your motor, that's what I'm doing.
I've got the crank pulley only. Had one on both my zeds, no problems at all for me. I like the UR pulleys, very nicely machined.
So no one is running all 4 of then like the kit I put up just the crank ? Maybe I'll do the same then ? Go with the trend lol
Ive got the full set. Cant really give you much of a review on them as ive only driven about 50k since i put them on. They do look pretty but you can only really see the power steering pulley once its all put back together. As for any performance benfit, my engine had never been running right until i recently replaced a faulty injector and did the pulleys at the same time so i cant really say.
Well it's for the rebuild but also mainly for looks this one rob ;p ha ha Just trying to track down a turbo smart fpr that has dual in and single out Trying to follow your fuel set up idea but I'm using the stock rails as twin feed
