I'm just wondering whether a product exists, I have a boost controller, turbo timer and ecutalk all sitting around my interior, real police bait if I'm ever pulled over, so I want to put them all in the lower DIN slot but have a cover that folds down or similar, so I can fold it up if I need to. Anyone know of anything?
They won't all fit if you want to be able to see them all. Run the ECU talk in the slot and the boost controller and turbo timer in the center console/glove box with an external boost gauge.

Didn't someone here modify the oem Bose center speaker grill to allow them to hide away their goodies? Looked pretty cool. Those eBay fold down lid thingos in my opinion look ass. But I guess function over aesthetics wins this debate.
they kinda fit, its a fiddly thing to put in without having gaps around the edges, only because they are designed for toyotas so that you can have a single din head unit with faceplate around it and still fit that pocket in but if you get it right it looks good. I used to have just the pocket with no flap and i would put my phone in there and when i hit boost it would fly out at me. so i originally got that to eliminate that problem and then i thought it would be cool to have the boost controller and turbo timer in there and now my phone doesnt fit anyway.
it kind of fits, its fiddly to get it to fit without having gaps around the edges, they are slightly smaller than our ones because they are designed for toyotas so that they can have a single din head unit with the front faceplate and still have a pocket.
It's legal. But I wouldn't trust a cop that knows nothing about cars to distinguish between an ecutalk unit and a boost controller and that gives them a reason to go snooping. Also I'd prefer the setup didn't look like arse. I want something that looks oem. Was it MickW that did that mod?
Yeah, your talking about Mick_W...his old Z Bose mesh DIN cover literally just sit over the top of his gauges in his lower DIN slot and you can't tell they're there. Send him a PM and Im sure he'd be happy to provide some advice on the matter. Cheers, Craig
well after picking up my ECU talk unit today from the post office its a lot bigger than I thought, so change of plans, ECU talk can go in the DIN slot and I'll put the rest in the centre console I think
