Just came across this thread on projectz32, has anybody seen/heard of nissan using these spring loaded hose clamps for the fuel rail? I know they're used on some of the coolant lines but they hold less than 20psi. I would've thought they wouldn't be able to hold fuel pressures of 40psi+?

I have seen them used for a lot of different applications over the years including fuel lines. I like them as easy and neat clamp to install. But you have to be very careful if you are using them on pressure lines as to use ones that are tight enough. I would not use them on something as important as fuel injected lines unless they are original as we all know the excitment leaking fuel lines can cause. I get my little clamps for fuel lines off ebay and they look fairly neat.

They're listed on Concept Z's website as OEM Nissan parts - LINK

In Coz's pic they look to be double banded. I'd give them a go but only if I was using them on OEM fuel hose as the O.D. and hardness of the hose would be critical.

You're correct Mick, they appear to have an outer band that provides additional clamping force(unlike many of the ones I am familiar with).

    Hidds THAT annoying guy....

as with everyone else, as long as they are the correct size blah blah, good to go...

that being said, when i remove one i put it in my tool box... i hate them, i replace them with screw clamps

They are OEM Nissan Parts & double banded. They hold the base fuel + boost pressure just fine. I personally woudl not use them with an aftermarket FPR running higher base pressure & more boost. But if you have a setup like that, more than likely you will have AN fittings on your fuel system....
