wont make this one

was looking forward to going on this, but my car is still not ready. just found out the turbos i bought off the forum a year and a half back were damaged.

his car over heated in a race in queensland. the turbo shaft was slightly bent, and the water lines where blocked. thats why they kept leaking oil.

shit, fk more money to be spent on the car. why me. i have purchased two thing off the forum turbos, and brake master cylinder and the re sleeving was not done right on that.

cant win. its lucky brian from brytech is going to help me out.have a good cruise guys maybe next time. if it was like the last one i went on you should have a good one . cheers bigmax.

Well I won't be there. A coolant hose just popped off on the westgate bridge. I got it off pretty quick so I just hope like hell the engine is ok!

Thanks for the kind words Sean. It was one of the hoses up the back. Too much effort so it's at the mechanics for testing. Really sucks as I was so keen for this.
I pulled out of Todd road servo heading for ballarat and all good. Then accelerating to merge I hear a pop. After about 20 sec engine loses power. I glance at the temp gauge and it's just below H. ****! So engine off about 100m onto the bridge. Realized turbo timer hasn't turned it off after the idle was going nuts. So bashed that off.
I guess thats what I get for using the air con and not having the targas off. Haha. Heres hoping. :zlove:

Well said JEDI And Flash; the weather around here is weird.
We might cop some wind but the rain could miss us altogether.

 

From the latest weather report, it will be fine most of the day, with showers developing in the evening! Most of us should be home before any rain gets here.

Here in Bendigo, they quite often forecast rain, and we usually miss out altogether.

So if anyone is contemplating not coming because it "might" rain, then dont hold your breath over it, as we should have a nice day. Could be overcast though.

Hey Guys....unfortunately Im out ...it's a mixture of unexpectedly having to help my father transport and setup his new 10x5 slate billiard table (he bought it earlier this week and wasn't expecting him to organise it till next weekend at the earliest...surprised me by being ready to get it today and setup tomorrow), lack of sleep over the last few days and not being able to clean the M3...but mostly because Im still needed to help lift the slate on tomorrow and finish putting it all together. I've also got a heap of house work to do since I spent all day today driving to Melbourne and back with a 1tonne billiard table .

Hope you all have a great time, I trust someone else will take care of getting some good photos and posting them up afterwards.

Mick, really sorry I can't be there to help run the cruise...please be sure to apex some corners for me
