Based on my targa post conclusion. I realised I was asking the wrong question and should be asking the same question that everyone would like to know as well. If I just gave you a 300ZX VG30DETT in the colour of your choice /man or auto and a $100,000 to spend on it. Conditional that you could not sell it for ten years, had to drive it as a daily and had to spend the whole 100K on it What would you spend it on first and in what order of priority- it has to be reasonably costed! This is not my list - I will post mine soon - got a shit load of stuff to list in mine. You can add the current list off your current car if you like, but it has to be what you like and want the most on your dream Z. early hint - (I got Teins in mine) Example: Paint colour - Super Heavy Flake Pearlescent White (FREE PAINT inc any spoilers added etc at no cost) 1. HOTWIRE MAGS $2000 2. SUSPENSION KIT TEIN $4,500 3 Carbon Fibre complete kit 11,500 inc doors guards hatch bonnet rear guards 4. Apexi Exhaust $1,150 5. The rest to fuel and oil for as long as it lasts (approx $89,000) You can show any pics of your dream Z if you like real or drawn or animated, but how you would spend the 100K is the actual question! If you can build it yourself thats fine, if you have to pay for a mechanic or specialist so be it. Remember its your dream Z but it has to be reasonably costed! You can be specific as you like or as simple as you like. When you think about it - its the most technical question you can ask hence this category. Its not a picking list, so leave others lists alone and paste you own if you think you can do better. It more about your taste and priority and how you would spend money on your Z not about whats not there or performance based. Its about taste and priority - whats your dream Z list!
1: Retain my Nardi steering wheel. 2: Replace ALL other components with Ferrari Dino 246 parts. 3: Wake up(and seek Medical help). 4: Arrange regular visits to make sure you are comfortable in the Home for the Terminally Confused(don't forget to leave some Xmas cake and a drink for Santa).:zlove::zlove::br::rofl::rofl:
okay, I'm going to give this a proper shot. I would keep my current Z and the plans - flush TT, low and pretty. On top of the current to do list I'd grab - - Replica OEM fenders, doors and hatch in carbon fiber (all of which would be painted) - Go to the ends of the earth for an Escort bonnet - A set of Z33 Brembo's and discs - Yank the engine out, do a full wire tuck and shave and repaint the bay - New wiring loom - Combine REV Imports & Real Speed's range of genuine carbon fiber interior components for a full carbon interior wherever there isn't tweed - 1998 manual gearbox - Leader gears - Engine rebuild with forged internals - Fit nitrous - Source a genuine OEM black tweed interior (keeping my recaros) - lots of sets of wheels USDM rears with Mickey Thompson slicks for the drags, Work Emitz, Work Eurolines, TE37's for track wheels... - the rest on tyres
Gun Metal Grey 2+2 NA Manual (dunno why, but I'd rather an NA to a TT, and yes, there are many things wrong with me) -2k front bar and rear lights -TwinZ rear bar with diffuser -GMG 5 spoke rims of some description -Leather interior (Black possibly with cream sections) -Assorted interior parts redone in CF -Get the engine bay cleaned up, and add some of the CF covers and parts I've seen around -Probably more stuff (not just cosmetic), not got that far with it yet Not unlike this one from the states (just needs some different rims): 300ZX by projectPhoto?, on Flickr NISSAN 300ZX by classicfordz, on Flickr Had a bit too much time a few weeks back so I drew one up as well...as you do.
300ZX by projectPhoto? What colour is this? Looks really nice...looks similar to ztoy's zed i think... Abraham
Think it's just the standard metallic grey, but I really don't know. Looks awesome either way.:zlove:
