Last couple of times I had tyres put on the z the guy told me that the tyres were a little out and there was no way to adjust them. They lean into the car a little at the top, and after a while I tend to see the inside edge of the tyres on the front end wearing faster than the rest of the tread.

So, what is normal? I have to do something with tyres again and I wouldn't mind getting this sorted out once and for all.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Cheers.

You need front and rear camber arms. Not terribly dear these days see PZP, UAS or similar. Then with alignment your tyres should wear better :).

    Yes this is common.

The best way to resolve the problem is at the centre of a long running battle of sanity versus stupidity.

Aftermarket Upper Control Arms have been known to break, bend, snap also they are illegal and can be defected and are usually more expensive then what I think is the prefered solution.

I had concentric bushes fitted to my FUCA's to provide a small amount of adjustment to resolve this problem, others have tried the same solution previously but had noise problems, mine were fitted with grease nipples where theirs were not, installation instruction say to install nipples although the kit doesn't come with them.

It fixed my tyre wear problem, its safe its legal and usually cheaper.

It just doesn't look race or hektik.

Fulcrum fitted mine in Brisbane and they are fully pro in the area of suspension, they don't have workshops in VIC but have authorised ones.

I would let a workshop look at it and ask "Can you fix this problem ?"

This is normal. Z32's are cambered from the factory. How long were your tyres lasting you?

Contrary to popular belief, camber hardly accelerates tyre wear at all. Toe is what you need to be afraid of - how far pointed in, or out your wheels are.

Do you have a print out from your last wheel alignment?

Pedders fitted adjustable bushes to my Z a couple years back for $580 including a full wheel alignment.

Did you do it because of tyre wear problems and did it fix it ?

    Do yours have nipples ?
(lol fitted on your front upper arms when bushes fitted.)

Have there been any problems with them ?
