ok so i went to get my rwc for the car the price i paid for my car i was expecting a few things but not this i asked him if it had been in an accident he said no it hadn't ok cool not a problem ill take it so if i can get any one has any idea on how much ill be looking at to have these problem sorted? power stearing pump replaced r/h chasis has bog in it from accident im told rust in the space saver rear chasis rail bent and bogged r/h side cat converters collapsed internally basically i want to know weather it would be worth looking into getting fixed or jus scrap the whole car?? any insight would be appricated cheers jamie
Sooo.... What does he expect u to do about the bog?? The pump and cats are easy...Wire brush on the grinder will take the rust off..
What does the car owe you, whats the rest of the car like ? Link to a thread with pictures if there is one. Is the chassis damage front and rear right or just rear right ?
hi guys the rwc says: RH chassis has bog in it behind rear bumper rust holes in space saver wheel well rear chassis rail bent and bogged RH side the car owes me only about 4k at the moment everything else is ok and just a few little things to fix which i can do for the rwc. cheers jamie
I feel for you man having a similar situation with my Z was told nothing wrong with it and no accidents. Ended up needing a new radiator, steering rack foglight and a few other little things. Then i found out the other day it was put in for a check to see if it should be written off. Some ppl
yeh man suffice to say i was far from impressed grrr!!!! ill let you all know tomorrow how bad the damage is after i take it to the panel beater
get the accident damage checked again. Id probably get away from it if it has been bent and badly repaired
