Just EOI at this stage...Im contemplating putting my doors back to ordinary hinges and wanted to see if anyone will be interested in buying the vertical hinges....see my garage for pics of the doors in the up position. the doors open out then up. You can get in and out without raising the doors if you choose.

Ive has the on the car for about a year and a half..I had them professionally installed and Ive never had any problems with them. they originally cost me about $1600 from Canada. I researched vertical hinges before buying these ones.

Let me know if you could be interested...I will be looking at getting in the vicinity of $850 for them

    Simon

Originally I wanted something to make my car stand out...I may have gone a bit far with my front bar, bonnet, engine, interior....doors just arent needed to make the car stand out anymore...see garage pics

Go back to standard tails sim if you havnt done so already. Its the signature piece of the car! Everything thing else i like, nice garage :)

Also, if the doors can be opened normally what is the point of removing them? All i can think of is extra cash :zlove:

will have standard lights on in a few weeks...... doors open about two thirds of the way before going up....so not completely open..just enough to use them without it being an issue....thanks for the comments on my car..appreciated

Out of curiosity (I'm definitely interested!), you have a (beautiful) 2+2 and I have a 2 seater...

Is there any difference? Would they still fit on my Zed?

I'm only asking coz I'm mechanically retarded!?

There's no difference... 2+0 and 2+2 models are identical from the nose til around the end of the doors. ie, they'll fit fine

They will fit a 2 seater as well...no issues at all. And thaey are not difficult to get in and out of...either with the doors in the up position or just opened outwards

looks like a very similar kit to what i have...

they are only a pain in the ass to get in and out of if you have back issues LOL.. like me atm..

    BUT otherwise fine.
Did you have a option simlenton to get remote opening ? (actuators).. if so how much as i got quoted $1000 to get actuators put on.
