I got curious and went to see what i would be offered for a trade-in early this year...the guy offered me $10gz!! That's way under the money i have spent on the car lol i told him i got a better chance selling it privately...which if i ever do sell it will get me more (hopefully lol) Abraham

+1, that's amazing they offered you that. Guys I was more after stories of people deliberately mistreating Zeds out of stupidity rather than break downs. That's a normal story.

Well the previous owner of one of my zeds was trying to hoon in the wet when he lost control and managed to give a guard rail a little love tap. Smashed the front bar and fender then I had to organise to get it painted... ...was that the kind of story you were looking for?
yeah... just the outer shell of one of them, on the underside. dunno to just bog it or take it somewhere...
this thread is full of people too tight to pay extra for a nice Z, perfect examples of buying cheap ass banged up POS zeds and then dropped 3x the amount they paid to get it running correctly why isn't anyone willing to fork out the extra upfront to enjoy a Z that works?
Cos most of the time even the nice zeds will need some work. If I was to drop decent money on a zed, I'd want new everything in it. The only zed I reckon would be worth good money is Graham's (Tektrader). And that's cos I know the guy knows what he's doing and has changed a shitload of parts in that car.
I think it's the same mentality that drives certain young females to go for the "bad boy" type. "That scruffy zed is so unloved and misunderstood, but I can save it!"
My awesome story just happened Lost my job, then the Z decides hey I'm gonna blow my head now good luck with that And now I can't do anything about it due to lack of funds... 3 weeks without driving it is killing me
Mine just happened to me tonight... Went outside in the pouring rain to jump in the Z. Put key in the drivers side lock and turn it. Something doesn't feel right... take the key out and its bent to the point of almost snapping! Take a closer look and someone has tried to break in and completely messed up the lock... Great. I grab the spare key and go through the passenger door to be greeted with a large puddle of water from what seems to be a leaky targa. Fantastic. Try to start the car. Nothing. All I get is a clicking noise? Could it get any better?? Ah, the wonders of owning a 300 :zlove:
My driveway is too steep to get down... I tried it a few weeks ago and it started scraping, any advise on how to get down smth really steep??
