  2. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Apexi's good, but that's a rip off. I've got a Blitz filter (just as good) that I can sell you for only a fraction of that, and it'll bolt right up :) Regular pod filters need an adapter.

Thanks for the links nemz but tbh i wouldnt trust those 2 rly cheap ones the dual 1 is interesting but as far as i know a waste for an N/A.

Im probably just going to buy Anti's itl do the job and is definitely going to be better then the crappy air box i got in there now.:)

Get a 3A racing pod mate.

    Clicky

Adapters can be bought from supercheap or autobarn as mentioned. The adapter is the same as the WRX one.

To be honest, those cheap pods are more comparable to the expensive k&n's, apexi etc then you would think.

Part of the reason why a lot of Japanese Car Tuning Companies have gone bust in the last few years.

For me personally, in my NA my ARC box with paper RYCO Panel Filters flow and run better then my K&N pod (cotton gauze) and my huge UNI FILTER pod(FOAM).

China has a habbit of being able to copy things very closely to spec

They are usually basically just K&N copies. Which is exactly what the 3A filter is also.(Cotton gauze oiled)

But make sure any cotton gauze or foam filter is oiled, as they filter horribly without being oiled.

And note, I am not saying all the cheap ones will be as good or better, but when it comes to pods in most cases, they will be fairly comparable to whatever they are copying.

Im not an expert but i read somewhere that oiled filters are bad for Z's coz they bolt right on2 the AFM and the oil can dirty the sensor any truth to that ?

it is just a light coating on the material, which stays on the material, to help it catch fine dust.
