well uk nissan dont do them, i believe they never did, it was a optional extra from the factory in japan. i got them when a member of 300zx.co.uk put them up for sale. paid a small fortune for them considering there's only about 5 of us in the UK with them.
You'd make good money making some sub boxes like you got, fair few members are after some and I believe UK postage to Australia is a lot cheaper than the states to Australia, old man got a motorbike exhaust from there for like under $50 for post, states were anywhere from triple to quad triple that lol PS I do like the zed also, I think your missing one thing though, a rear wing to make it complete
Funny you should say that, ive got a 99spec waiting to go on, its currently waiting for a spray job, im keeping it black as well as it makes the back end of the car look mean, and i mean.....mean....ooh here you are see for your self lol These photos are of the test fit before i put the 99spec rear lights on, you can see tissue sitting under the legs to protect the paintwork this will not be there when fully fitted .
love your car, great example, I think the bomex may suit it!! but im sure it will end up looking even better either way
Never been a fan of the high level spoilers, in fact it wasn't until a friend of mine showed up with his 99spec zed that i fell in love with the 99spec lol. always like the standard 89spec spoiler as it just seems to suit the back end better. thanks Kiff

most parts form the UK market are very high priced, we have had a tax increase at the beginning of the year. and our 300zx market is very small compared to the US. a 300zx is something of a rear thing over here, ive owned a 300zx for the past 3 years and only ever seen 1 other on the road to flash my lights at and say hello. although our second hand market is a lot cheaper. most of us get parts from zcenter.co.uk or z1motorsports in the US. though saying that, might be able to grab a few bargains, if you ever needed a UK address to send things too from uk ebay. i don't mind supplying and then forwarding on to you lot, as long as all fees are covered. I sell a lot of 300zx parts anyway and noticed that some prices in aus are a lot higher, take for instance the S2 heater control pod and ECU, so you can direct the flow of air electronically, someone on here was selling one for $250 or there abouts, in the UK that was only ?60 delivered. which works out as around $89, i doubt shipping would cost that much.
Australia is much the same, i think at the moment theres only a hand full of zeds for sale, After market parts available is almost nil in most cases, but heaps of other stuff available for imports like skylines etc.
and very photogenic well, engine and gearbox is coming out in the following week, getting it changed for a rebuilt one, gearbox is staying auto for now with a manual conversion coming next year. will get some photos up when im doing it, going to take about a day for the engine and gearbox change. already done water by pass on the new engine, plus EGR delete, also doing all the deletes as well to clean up the engine bay. as my car doesnt have the aircon compressor at the moment, im thinking of putting it back in, i like my A/C and although we don't get it as hot over here for as long as you lot do. when it is hot the targas just don't do much when sat in traffic.

tell me about it, wait till ive got them lit, will get some more photos. but really been busy this week, had the engine out and gearbox out for the engine and gearbox change. finally got the engine in today, next up is the gearbox new engine, don't worry about the sub frame, that came off before going in lol minus plenum Would just like to add, if you have piston ring failure and you are blowing a lot of oil into the plenum, check your inter coolers. click image for video this was the drivers side of the front mounted inter cooler this was the passenger side, but id emptied most out, bunged it back up and then got the camera out. about 0.5 of a litre of oil in total from the two. im the fat git in the red lol
