No no, you've got it wrong. The plane is not for sale dirt cheap, it doesn't have tigers painted on it :p

And the ZX is probably used as a pace car to stop the young pilots from hooning in the 747

( Imagine trying to impound and crush that big sucker  )

Thats a SWB, the listing is wrong.

SWB fuel filler cap is on the left of the arch, LWB fuel filler cap is on the right of the rear wheel arch.

He also states it in the notes, hence the price.

It's got a late model spoiler, but the seat belt is still mounted on the door from what I can see.

If thats the case, not a 97, maybe a 94?

not even, still has a series 1 steering wheel, a/c and grey tweed.
it's probably an 89-90 with a 94 spoiler and was imported in 1997 and first registered that year.
the idiot is probably just going by the rego sticker.

i once had vic roads ask me if my Z was a 2004 model, alot of people are clueless.
theres also some knob on ebay trying to get rid of a "98 model" yellow z with veilside. it's a friggen 94 model at best!! only tell by the balance tube, but even then could just be a late model engine.

Yep travis is right on the money there. You can see the bracket for the door mounted seat belts in the upper door jam. Dead give away its a 89-92 model.

Plus it's got Series 1 taillights and orange side blinkers(isn't that a Veilside front bar?).
Once again, where is the drivers airbag on all these recent 97/98 models that are on offer recently?:rofl::rofl:

I know yeah, I have done extensive research on the later model Z's and though alot of things are the same alot of changes where made and not all are listed on the model variations websites I have posted on the forum.

I plan to put this to rest with my 2k conversion project and try and list as many of the changes and optional parts available to the Z32 throughout the 10 year production line as I can, so people will know the differences in the future.

    Dear socceraus,

this is NOT a 98 model, it may have been imported and registered in 1998 but it was not built in 98, only 97 models can be imported due to 98+ needing dual airbags.
you have replaced almost every part that could distinguish it's year model, except for the series 1 climate control and series 1 speedo.
98 model, infact 96+ had manual climate control not digital, and 96+ twinturbos had NO boost gauge in the speedo cluster. they were removed due to production costs.
it's probably somewhere between a 92-95 only because the balance pipe on the plenum is gold instead of black.
either you know this and are trying to scam the shit out of a clueless buyer or, you just dont know your own car.
    which is it?

    - mafized

i beg to correct you .. you can have a 5 speed auto ... comes via a simple modification .. just add a strong rubberband to the auto box and bingo, easy peasy ... lol.
