I dropped her off just now and told my man about the hooks and he just said "we'll take care of it, don't you sweat it". Sounds good to me. Mind you I gave the two of them a bottle of jacks each so they were real happy. I'm in for a long afternoon. Stay tuned.
What a day. My panel and paint guy had a lot of trouble fitting this sucker. Even had to cut underneath so it would slip in. I didn't want to go into too much detail as I felt pretty bad as he's only charged me $400 to do the lot. I'm a good customer so he'll get me on zed two. It nearly didn't happen today but I started crying like a girl and he felt sorry for a crying grown man and they got it done, well past knock off. Those 2 JD's paid off well. The sun was going down so I pulled over on the way home to catch some light so I could do an up-date tonight as I'm pretty excited with all this. By the way, I'm getting the exhaust centered. It's really changed my zed and I couldn't be happier. So here she is. sorry to jack thread Here's a very crappy picture of Laam's bar fitted with tow hooks still in place. you cannot notice them if standing up now notice the modifications done. Apart from that you are right about they fit like a glove. great workmanship in the bar itself and the capping. Love your idea with the colour coding too
That looks pretty good... My car's been on a few tow trucks so I'm somewhat attached to those hooks!!
I'm going to have to look at modding those hooks (not the bar) to fit at some stage as I need them too..
