insurance..

with my zx, im looking for insurance.. so far nrma is the cheapest, at 1700 per year. anyone know any where i can get it cheaper (note: im 17 on my red p plates, and only writen down as a drive not owner) its a 1990 2+2 non-turbo

'just car' insurance should be around $1000 - $1200 if you havnt had any claims/accidents/loss of licence.

 

Also depends on where you live. I doubt a 17 year old p plater will get that. I sure didn't when I was 19

 

lol i am 19 AND i live in Balga. If i can get quoted $1200 i think anything short of an 8yo in a TT should be able to get it especially if hes only a driver, not the owner.

 

For full comp thats probably the best price you're gonna get. Im 19 and the cheapest quotes were from shannons for $1500 with me as the main only driver and Allianz $1300 with my mum as the main driver and me as an additional driver. Just car wouldnt be that low, they quoted me around $2300 for full comp, ive had no demerits or anything and its an NA.

hey mate havnt you got a parent much cheaper using them like $600 full comprehensive

 

Take your name off the policy and insure it under a parents name. You will have to pay an extra excess in the event of an accident however :br:

I gave up on fully comp. I tried just car when I bought mine I was 19 and they said 2700 so I jut got third party fire and theft for 420
