Hi all, Some stupid lady backed into my Z last nite and made a dash for it. Got a witness, but he couldn't provide much for evidence, no plate number, car model or even colour of the car. Not much to go by, except we know who the lady is, her surname, TRAN, which is like Smith and Jones, and looking for a needle in a hay stack. Got the police on it, but doesn't look promising. Anyway, looking at the damage, will I need to replace the whole fender and bumper or can the panel shops plastic weld it and pop the fender back out? Hate spending money where it's not needed & especially when it's not my fault.
that fibreglass bumper can be reglassed. the quarter panel might pop back out and could be resurfaced by a shop. it's all in the labour. if you find a cheap one on the forums just grab that instead.
hey mate sorry to hear about the accident, but the bumber can be reglassed and that gaurd dost look too bad they can pop it out, mine was a lot worse and they popped it out. hope you find this tran lady, and it gets fixed soon
