Just trying to guage any interest for this engine out there. Considering the complete lack of time on my hands with a new job and my business, I am looking at getting rid of a few things. If this goes, I will put everything else up.

I sold my tubbed VL which this was going to go into, which I was planning a twin turbo installation, but time has got the better of me. So i thought I might be better used by someone else.

    - It is a completely rebuilt, to factory specs, new rings and bearings as well all balanced.
    - Also have a complete new factory Nissan (no ebay cheapy - $700+) timing chain kit. The timing chain guides are the most common problem with these engines when they are bought second hand from a jap wrecker, they are usually snapped or more than likely on their way out since they were a factory defect.
    - Comes with complete factory wiring harness.
    - Optional extra is adaptor for powerglide gearbox (I also have a powerglide which will go ONLY if this sells) and also EMS 8860

Just a few factory/standard features of the VH45DE:
    - 270-280kw
    - aluminium block
    - 10.2:1 compression
    - 6 bolt mains

Let me know if anyone is keen.

Looking at offers over $2500 for complete engine and timing chain kit alone.

    Cheers,
    Ariel

Is this factory or a special factory? Specs I see indicate 208kw for that motor. Has there been some modifactions?

    270-280 fwkw

Factory figures were politically correctness bullshight

Thank you very much Steven. They were rated at 206fwkw from factory due to Jap law restrictions but were well above that.

Anyway, free bumps for my for sale thread, we can keep this talk for the technical section.

    Cheers,
    Ariel

    Hi
I have one of these engines as well & based upon "past experience" I think Hybridz is worth considering to get some interest:)

Yep, HybridZ, NissanV8's and Nico VH forum is the place to advertise it.

I sold my VH with everything needed to directly bolt it into a Z32 for $3500 and have it running, wasn't rebuilt though.
