Hey, i have had a bit of a search and unfortunatly found nothing. Im just wondering how to go about changing the injectors. Im guessign a plenum pull is envolved in getting them out. Just a brief idea on what to do would be great,

    Cheers Again guys :br:

Should probable mention that i have a TTZ32

Pretty much what you said. Disconnect all hoses, fuel, water, vaccum. Keeping in mind to not touch the water supply line to the washer nozzles. If you get confussed and connect this by accident, you'll poop your engine.

Wiring loom from the top end of the engine.

After that its a removal of the plenum. Probably need to completely remove the acordian pipe from the front of it to gain more easy access.

After that you will see (iirc) 4 mounting screws that hold the fuel rail in place. Unscrew them and give the whole rail a wiggle and hopefully without too much force, it will fall into your hands.

After that, its than a matter or securing the rail and proceed to remove the injectors from the rail. To which can be a bitch as they're in tight. Some use vice grips, others different tooling. But which ever works in the end.

....im sure though there is a tech article out there though.

Just de-pressurize the fuel system, then carry out a plenum pull

From there, the injector fuel rail comes off with a few screws.
Use a suitable socket to press the old injectors out like so:

Thanks heaps for all the quick replys guys!! it seems fairly straight forward. All i remember is seeing that you could do it with the plenum on, after looking at the Z32 wiki site, i did see that you can.. im unsure how im gunna go about it, but when i get new injectors i will have surley realised which way to go about it!, once again cheers for the quick replys!

For plenum on, look into the 'dremel method'. Either use a dremel and attachments to grind out the plenum to get to the injector caps, OR use a die grinder and a carbide burr dipped in ATF to grind the alloy away. It will be much harder to pull the old injectors out this way, they have a fair bit of force holding them in.
Reinstall using engine oil on NEW O-Rings to make installation painless.
