Well after buying a LHD center console finisher from COZ and then finding out later that it wouldn't fit our RHD Z's, I went on a search for the correct one only to find out that they are significantly more expensive. The best I've been able to achieve is $76 each if I order 20 or more. Not sure how much interest there is at this price so let me know if this is going to be of interest to any of you. Just so as you know, this is the equivalent LHD part from COZ: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=318&Car_Type=NIS300&UID= Note: This is for manual transmission, haven't got a price for autos yet so let me know if you want that as well.
Still, pretty reasonable price for the part that it is. Count me in for one if your purchase of 20 goes ahead. The only issue I've got is mine will have to be charcoal - not black!
How do you know its for a manual only?? I brought one of these a few years ago and didn't know there was a difference.
Maybe there isn't. As I was initially asking for myself I asked about the manual and then thought I'd get a price for a bulk buy. Didn't think to distinguish between the auto and manual and just assumed there would be some difference. Maybe someone can shine a definite answer to this??
I converted my TT Slicktop to manual years back and I don't recall needing the different console. I don't really need a new one but iff the numbers are close I may jump in to help tip it in favour of the GB.
Auto & Manual the same Auto and manual are the same, it's only the insert around the shifter that is different, Boot for manual and shifter with position cover for auto. Did my manual conversion and changed over quite easily. If numbers are needed then count me in Andy
I got a new one from Z Centre a while back - might be worth approaching them for pricing - currently they sell at 25 pound - US$42.... Clicky
The stereo surround is angled towards the driver - so where it meets the gearlever surround is a different shape. I have a brand new LHD one sitting in a box at home from CZP...
Ok you have my attention. I've had a look on their site but cant find it there. I'll send them an email and see what they say.
They have just replied to my email and requested a part number. I have looked this up on Fiche (Tech CD ROM) and got this number 96960-30P00. I then spoke with Nissan here in Australia and they told me it was 96960-40P00. Can anyone help clear up what the actual part number is? WazTTed did you have to supply a number?
