Car vibrating.... again...

I recently posted here saying i was getting a vibration in my car at certain speeds and rpm, which is responded with centre bearing by quite a few people. So i got a new one of them installed and problem gone!
But now its back again, and in more situations.
I get a rougher vibration when starting off from idle, although i think this could possibly just be engine rumble but should it be very noticeable or is that another issue?
And once again the vibrations at about 80kmh at about 3000rpm... is there anything else it could be?

Have you checked your engine mounts?

off topic, but that burn out avatar looks very familiar :D I hope you have taken the liberty to watch the video.

And to at lest attempt to add some bit of help,

The center bearing from memory, there should be some fairly thick 5MM? spacer washers when re-assembling your center bearing to be held against the body, not having them might cause the angle to be slightly off and wear it out prematurely?

If its the same feeling vibration that was fixed with the centre bearing, it could be that gain, many cars are missing the factory heat shield that goes between the exhaust and the centre bearing.

Here's a picture i stole from rob260's car, it has extra heat shield matting to protect his carbon fibre tail shaft, but its the bit of tin holding the matting up.

Tranny mounts definately worth a look.
Also when centre bearing was fitted were the tailshafts put back with correct alignment?? The 2 shafts have balance weights on them & must be aligned exactly as removed otherwise will get an out of balance leading to vibration & premature failure of the centre bearing.

Probably not, but could one of your wheels have lost a weight and gone out of balance? Just something else to look into possibly..

Thanks for all your help again guys, i truly love this forum, so much better than so many other ricer forums I've seen.

Would I be able to do that easily, how would i go about doing this?

    OMG THERE'S A VIDEO!?!?!?! :br:

Once again is this something i could check my self easily? (mounts that is)
the tail shafts were done by a family mechanic that doesnt exactly have all the tech in the world (70yr old dude but he's still pretty good).
Im thinking of changing my mechanic to an ex-UAS guy thats now in my local area. But if that centre bearing is gone again im gonna be pissed... they arent cheap

This is something my friend said to me recently when i was talking about a different problem. When engaging my gears (lifting off the clutch) i get a slight clunk sound of the rear of the car and he said that my diff bushes could be worn and the diff is twisting and clunking under the sudden pressure... could this also be causing the problem?

Once again thanks for your help everyone! :)
