Track Day Wakefield 28th and 29th May

The Slot Car will be at both SAU on the Saturday 28th May and NSCC on Sunday 29th May.
Two very good events to go to, free to watch or enter and pay to drive. I will have a passenger seat installed if you are keen as both days have passenger sessions, bring your own helmet or can hire them there. Check links below for more info.

Decisions, decisions

Which one to go to, member of both clubs, would like to compete at both but will only do one, have to right some wrongs from the Nats
Should have the car sorted by then, waiting on some bits from Coz.
Anybody else comming down to join in the fun?

 

i wouldn't mind coming down to watch and im definately keen to go shotgun in the slotcar, how much is it?

 

SAU day is $250 for non members and NSCC is $135 for members.
Welcome to be a passenger, just need a helmet and a CAMS licence, or a Wakefield licence which you can get on the day around $50.

 

50 bucks!! im in! i remember not long ago a certain drift zed trying to charge $250 for one lap

 

Yeah possibility for the SAU day. Will be able to confirm next weekend, if they have spots left.

Skylines V Rotarys with a couple of Zeds thrown in.

Going in convoy with Oni sat morning,
7.30 scruiteneering, 2 hour trip, leave 5am, casula truck stop (where we met last time) if it's good for you

 

Nothing at 5am is ever good for me, but I'll be there, freezing my balls off with no heater I'll wear my ugg boots. Actually...technically ugg boots are closed shoes, leather upper (lamb leather), and with a top forecasted temp of 13 degrees.....can I race in Ugg boots?!?!?! :br:

 

Technically, yeah, I guess so.

 

Might affect my pedal work though

 

Just a little.

Still, you wouldn't need to worry about heel and toe, you could just mash both pedals down with one boot. (Whether you wanted to or not...)
