I've been looking for decent catch can /breather! ..majortity dont have baffles in them to help seperate oil/air. looking at buying a generic one and adding a baffle
well if your going down to bunnings can you make me up one as well! I'm in the same boat, 90% of the ones on the market only do half the job.
cheapest way is add stainless steel wool in through the breather if it doesnt come apart .. or properly by pulling apart and putting a perforated panel and stainless steel wool.
i picked up a perterson baffled catch can with internal baffles and 3 male fittings for $130 new. Not bad when you considered some pay that for glorified milo tins...
Very nice bit of imagination and fabrication there. I like it. However, on my race car, I use a 1 litre screw top tin can once filled with paint thinners and it works perfectly! Peel the label off and its nice and shiny!!!! Even has a BLUE plastic cap to match my cars colour scheme! Furthermore, i found it in the rubbish so the price was just right! :br:
what do you guys think of catch can/breather which returns oil to sump instead of having to empty it? .
If you could be arsed then why not? However, it takes a fair whacked engine to fill a correctly setup can in any short time making the job seem pretty redundant! L8r E
What about a Provent 2000 if there is room?? That is what I am going to use IF i can find room. Cheers Mark Quick Question how do you add a PDF file to a page if you can?
What about an AOS like this for 300zx? SG MOTORSPORTS AIR-OIL-SEPARATORS (AOS): http://www.tuningworx.com/products#!__products/sgm-aos
