Heya aus300zx, I have been surfing your forums for quite a while now due to my growing interest in the 300zx. I finally decided to join, despite the fact that I don't own a 300zx (Due to high insurance costs), and hope to one day own one. Just to let you all know, from the outside (As you probably all already know ) this forum seems to be a close nit community of DEDICATED classic sports car lovers. I always enjoy seeing people giving their cars TLC and it goes to show that it is more than a car. :zlove: (I can relate as i polish my car at least once a month ) Anyway, just though i would say hello and let you know what a great forum this is. Looks like i caught the zed bug... P.S. If this is the wrong place to post this, sorry. I won't mind if it gets moved.
Welcome to the family :zlove: Just get third party, fire & theft!!! Not worth getting comp insurance on zeds for us under 25s. 2.5k a year for a 10k car? No thanks!

Hope to see you on a Qld cruiZe some day in your own Zed when you get one. I can direct you to the Zeds for sale, an absolute rarity of an example. K-zed's Red Zed going for around $10k. Where on the Gold Coast are you?? haha im actually spewing they dropped agreed value down from 18 grand last year, should have written it off then
Yeah when we went through it on-line just insured the car for maximum value which turned out to be 18k. I think the reason is on their systems they list 25th anniversary models and normal '95 aus spec zeds as the same car, seems to bump up the agreed value..

Cant you get your mum or dad to be on the insurance whole heap cheaper get high agreed value then sweet. I feel in love with them back in 1989 were the course car at adelaide GP took me till 2003 to get one $16K now lucky to be worth 5K but we love em and wont part with em
It's all good. I might give it a miss this time as I am aiming high this semester and don't want to get destroyed in mid sems... Thankyou for the offer and I'am sure there will be other events in the future I will be lookign out for. Would have been a good opportunity to try out my semi-new canon 30D i have been learning how to use though..
