About to give up, i cannot work out what the problem is. The last cylinder nearest the driverside at the rear of the engine bay (6th?) isn't firing. We disconnect the injector plug and the motor still runs on 5, connect it, no change, we do it to the others and it loses another piston, reocnnect it and it goes back up.

    We have changed:
    CAS
    PTU
    Injectors+Rail.

Shows no errors in the ECUTalk Display Unit.
Have purchased new injector plugs off Kzed, the 10 pack, just got to find someone to help attach them for me haha. We don't know what else to do, we have done everything people have told us to so far.

    it's no 5 cyl

And have you swapped coil packs to see if that is the prob? maybe the plug itself is dead? the injector connectors can be bad too. Clean em all :)

We have earthed it to the plenum before, the coilpacks all got switched around upon reinstalling. So i dont think it is a sparkplug/coilpack issue.
We are just sitting here thinking, it is probably sparking, but not getting a connection to fire? How would we check this?

    pull the coil pack

Put a plug in it and hold it against the engine while your mate cranks it. If it sparks then that aint your prob :)

Yes that's what we mean by we earthed it to the plenum sorry. We mean it's not telling it to let fuel in? Like it's sparking, but not igniting anything? Or am i wrong?

    is the plug wet?

it should be getting wet (excuse the sound of that) after a bit of cranking (excuse this also)

Did it run well before you changed the injectors? (while your mate turns the car over holding a screwdriver to the questionable injector and the other end against your ear can you hear it ticking?) If not the injector is dead or connection is bad. Mine had missed heaps over the years and has always been a simple fix.

If all checks out then give a compression test a go. Could be shot. Worse case scenario though

We have a stethoscope. We will check for ticking again tomorrow, we are thinking it is the injector connector (cap) piece ontop. We have a set to replace them all, as they arent in the best condition, we got new injectors because 3 of the old ones were not ticking at all. So we replaced the lot of the injectors and even the fuel rail. We need to get the new caps put on, but we are just trying to fish for more ideas, incase we are missing something trivial.

gotta do a compression test and a leak down test. swap the coil pack for a known good one and listen to the injector for a clean clicking sound
