Well driving to my parents place the other day and saw a 300zx with front end damage on the side of the road and thought to myself thats unlucky upon closer inspection i realised this was the NA Jap Spec i use to own a few years back. very said to see it like this. Thought i would post it up. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Doesn't look like a wreck from here. Sure parts are missing and different colour along with odd wheels but it's not like it's damaged... Right? I reckon you should offer to buy too. See what they say. Go around collecting neglected Z's?
Its had a good left front hit. dont let the missing headlight and different colour guard fool you. The reo bar is crooked and if you look where the headlight should be you can see its bent and rusted. Should still offer to buy it. If its only $500 might be worth restoring. Its a real shame to see it like that. It was such a straight and clean car, slower than a honda prelude but definately straight and clean.
such a shame when knucklheads get hold of a beatiful car. pity our zeds are not worth more to keep them out of there hands.
Looked quite tidy when you had it. Sad to see that 'after' pic. Ah well, the bright side - everyone else's Zed just went up another 5 cents in resale value.
I wondered about that 'blemish' above the filler cap too. It doesn't look like a shadow, so WTF? Andrew, I couldn't help but notice this in your signature - The perfect description of hitting boost: It feels like the engine is growing. I reckon that hitting boost feels like the car is trying to piss off and leave you sitting there alone
Naaah. It's a project car and that's where they started respraying before they ran out of paint! Seriously though - Someone offer $500 and part it out.
another one bites the dust the more zeds that get parted out and destroyed means the good condition ones are slowly becoming rarer and hopefully one day start to increase in value
