I (we) wish! There is one price bracket for 10+, and the next break comes at 40+

even with 20 bars thats still only a few for each state, going to be a pretty exclusive rear bar for those of us with it on order hehe

Okay now ordered a couple of questions I should have asked before hand, but oh well I will have to deal with the answer XD

    My questions are

    1. Does this rear bar still have room for the stock recovery tow points?
    2. Does the bar allow for the installation of the OEM Mud Flaps (I know there crap pieces of rubber, but I like them)?
    3. Does this rear bar require Sideskirts to line up with the side correctly, if so are the UAS sideskirts suitable?
    4. Does the UAS sideskirts make the Front Mud Flaps not fit?
    5. Does the shipping to WA increase at all if I added the UAS sideskirts?
    6. Does this variety of fibreglass get damaged easily, what sort of force? (another car accidently running into me in a parking lot at very low speed do no damage?)

    Thanks In Advance XD

Best I can do for now...

    1. Does this rear bar still have room for the stock recovery tow points?

    2. Does the bar allow for the installation of the OEM Mud Flaps (I know there crap pieces of rubber, but I like them)?

Don't know, have a look on the US forums www.300zxclub.com www.twinturbo.net where some have actually been fitted. They may be able to tell you.

    3. Does this rear bar require Sideskirts to line up with the side correctly, if so are the UAS sideskirts suitable?

I don't think it needs sideskirts but you may wish to add them? I'm sure JP will do you a deal if you wanted to include sideskirts in your order.

    4. Does the UAS sideskirts make the Front Mud Flaps not fit?

Don't know, have a look at their website www.300zx.com.au pics there may answer your question? Or you could email John and ask.

    5. Does the shipping to WA increase at all if I added the UAS sideskirts?

Won't be able to answer until the bars get here and we can see how they are packed. The shipping quotes have been provided based on dimensions provided to UAS, short answer if sideskirts can fit in the same box then no, if sideskirts need a separate box then yes. Actually even if they fit in the same box there will probably be a packaging charge for the skirts assuming you want them to get there in one piece :p

    6. Does this variety of fibreglass get damaged easily, what sort of force? (another car accidently running into me in a parking lot at very low speed do no damage?)

Umm it's the "good" fibreglass, but it's still glass. It won't flex like your (urethane) stock bars.

    Extras

These are very nearly ready to ship, I know some people wanted to add to the order...

    RED X 2+2
    rts_kineda 2+2

Guys please contact UAS ASAP if you have not already done so (all info has been supplied to you via PM) at this stage they have received payment from Travis M but that is all.

We don't want anyone to miss out, but nor do we want to delay the order once they are ready to send. So yeah if you're on the list above please contact UAS urgently if you have not already done so.

Hey guys the boat leaves Peru on march 4th, then it's up to shipping times and customs. Final $aud pricing won't be available until the container is delivered to UAS as they don't pay their final installment until they receive the goods.

    Thanks for the update Rob!
On a side note I leave to go on a 6week European holiday in early May!
Any rough idea if the boat leaves South America in early March when we might expect delivery of these?
If it happens to be while I'm away OS will UAS be able to store mine until I get back??

Once they get in zedhed if the savings are ok if we go group shipping to vic I dont mind storing yours in the garage or shed till your back if needed. Once it all gets a bit closer let me know what you think.

I'm expecting some more info will come through once the container is on the boat, so will have to keep you posted.

Re storage i can't see any issues although Lidz suggestion above looks the best (as you would get in on the discount shipping etc). The best suggestion I can think of is to get hold of UAS if they haven't come in on the week before you leave and see if you can settle your account. At least that way if the bars show up while you are OS yours can still be packaged and shipped with the rest.

I'm happy for them to go to one person in Vic, would help me out as I'm not around during the day for couriers. I'll also be getting a UAS front sent out as well.

The more the merrier if it's going to help all of us save a decent amount on local shipping from UAS! ;)

I think the only other Vic buyers are Tim (Baroo) & Roy (ROYSZX). Maybe we should get them ALL shipped to one location??......although Roy & Tim(lidz) are a fair drive out of town!.........but if it helps save them enough $$ then it still might be worth the drive in for them to pick up?

Any ideas of a central delivery location to everyone though?

I most likely will be overseas otherwise I could get them ALL delivered to work in Albert Park!......this still might be an option though?......my boss might accept delivery of them??.......although storage may be an issue? Plus if I'm not there to organise & arrange the pick ups he probably won't agree! :(

Tim (lidz) - could you take delivery of all 5 rear bars & a front bar?......although aren't you all the way down near Geelong somewhere?

Tim (baroo) could you accept delivery at work or at home?

    Baroo TIMMAY!

I can probably get them all delivered to me at work. Size shouldn't be an issue as I work in an automotive spare parts factory. If people aren't able to get them right away space wont be an issue.

My work is in Preston and is open on Saturday mornings so if needed I can arrange to be there one Saturday morning. Otherwise I'm there from 8am onwards during the week.

nah haven't been down that way for a while now, will be located in glen waverley when these show up.

I would (most likely) be getting mine delivered to work & while I could get more/all sent here getting them out would present an issue... I work at Ford Design so they wont let you boys pick up from here (plus its in Broady) & with my choice of transport it will prove a long/hard job to get more than 2 home at a time & then would run into issues storing them.

why dont we wait & see what the shipping quotes are, if there's not a huge saving we're probably better off doing it individually or in pairs just for ease of pickup

    cheers, Tim

Maybe Tim (Baroo) at his work in Preston would be the best option then if having ALL 6 items delivered to the one drop off point means considerable savings to us all?.......but you're right!.......it all depends on what sort of cost saving we are looking at compared to individual or paired shipping?........but I imagine it will definitely be worth considering! ;)

As soon as I get a minute I might try & do some research using e-go/Transdirect online quoting? I'll use the box size & weight from the 2K front bars & compare shipping a single box from UAS to Preston vs multiple to the same location! ;)

    Good idea,
Preston works well for me, not too far from home, so I would be happy with that option.
