    Ok thanks Andymac

I will have a look tomorrow now I know what and where I am looking.
My wife suggested the night before this happened that I sell my Z and my work truck and buy a decent ute. I don't think my Z heard when I said under no circumstances is the Z going anywhere if a car is to go Its her bunky daihatsu .

    All fixed It lives again

Well it took a few weeks not because it was all spent fixing the car but because I live in the glorious Western Australia it has been so bloody hot. By the time I get home from work and then it is still 35 degrees at 7pm I decided to wait for a cooler day, and today was it
To anyone who has not replaced all the small bloody coolant lines do them asap. and to all that gave advice Thanks heaps.
And what a great feeling to not have to come home to the sight of my pride and joy up on stands
    a very happy again
    Trevor

    The offender

    Hi AndyMac
It was the small hose from the passenger side turbo that goes up to a hardpipe and then up to the heater pipe. What a pig to get at, one good thing I am now the proud owner of three pairs of pointy nose pliers straight,45deg and 90 deg of which I needed all three at some stage

yep, worst hoses in the entire system to change. Bastards for a reason.

You'll find that after a while of working on these cars, that you won't believe how you ever did with out those long nose sets.

    Good job.
