Compliance: The Z32 300ZX is an older car and only needs to pass Euro 2 (1986 to 2004) emissions.

With this in mind, our new shipment of cats has a Euro 3 (2004 to 2007) wash coat with around 60% more precious metal content than most other brands on the market. The precious metal content in the wash coat is what removes the pollution, and the extra coating is to compensate for the larger hole size.

If you are worried about compliance and emissions, the 200cpsi cats will not perform quite as well, but they will remove more pollution as the holes are smaller.

Performance: 200cpsi cats will typically increase performance by around 6rwkw, whereas the 100cpsi cats will increase performance by around 10rwkw over a standard cat.

Rugged Construction: Unlike other brands, our substrate is fully bonded to a tube and the tube is welded to an outer case. The substrate now has tri-lateral reinforcements to eliminate the substrate from telescoping on high powered cars. Therefore you won't have any warranty issues.

There are other brands on the market, especially ebay, that are inferior quality to our range of cats. The substrates are poorly attached, hardly any precious metal content, and some have very short substrates.

    I hope this helps

    Cheers
    Greg

I'm also interested and in the same boat

but noting on the emissions, Euro 1 standards came out in 1992 and I read that the Euro standards only apply to cars manufactured after the date of the standard, does this mean my 1990 300zx is exempt from the standard, or did they have a standard previous to this I'm unaware of?

Next question, if Euro 1 standards did apply for some reason, would this easily surpass the emissions test?

The special will be on for at least a month.

Cats were compulsory in Australia from 1986 and as time goes on, the emission target is harder to meet. So if you were fitting a standard type cat off a newer car it would easily meet emissions standards.

These cats have a Euro 3 coating, and 60% more than some of the other brands to compensate for the larger holes. Therefore, in theory it should pass the emission test on the Z32 300ZX.

It is rare that you would be sent for an emission test, and it usually takes around 6 weeks to get in. I don't know of anyone with these cats that has been sent for an emission test and I have sold thousands of them.

If a car made in 1990 is still driving around with the standard cats, they probably don't remove the pollution as the coating wears off and gets contaminated over time.

Yep I got a set of the (3" inlet/2.5" outlet which is good to connect a 3" dump pipe to a 2.5" system) best price going and good quality, very happy with them.

Even at the regular price they are the best price I have seen, crazy to miss out at this price.

We brought these in because we were having too many warranty problems with the other brands.

The single skin ones aren't bonded, or not bonded properly, so when they heat up the outer case expands and the substrate comes loose. There is another brand that is a 2 piece pressing with heatshield. Some of the spot welds that attached the heat shield had pierced the case (which is hidden) and then after you make a nice exhaust system, it leaks and has to be cut out. The substrate is also held in place similar to the ceramic cats, and high powered cars push the substrate out of place.

There is another brand that features in a full page colour advertisement in car magazines, and if you have a close look the substrate is held in by a series of small dents.

Others have very short substrates which do little for pollution, and most of these other brands have very little precious metals in their coating.

Another well known brand we used to sell for high powered cars to a trade customer who does XR6 turbo's. He bought 5 from me and all 5 came back for warranty within 2 months. This brand is now welding pins into the cats to try to stop them failing.

The reason these cats are cheap is because they are my design, straight from the manufacturer to me, and then to you. Each time I get a shipment in, it takes all my cash flow, that's why they are on special.

These are the Best Quality Cats on the market, and they are on special.

Have a close look at this picture to see what I mean.

you wont lose even 1kw if you put cats in anyway. i went from a 2.5" strait through exhaust on the zed and made 227rwhp @ 7psi, put 2 x of these cats in and made exactly the same power. Theres no real excuse to NOT have cats anyway.

    Hi Scott,
This has to be done on the car as the cats are not separate pieces that just bolt together.

Maybe the 2.5" to 3" would be the easiest for a muffler shop to match up for you. We have them in stock.

    Cheers
