Just wanted to send out a big thanks to Madcow for a great Tech. day, and to also, as always, send a special thanks to Zcar91 and IB for their incredible and invaluable expertise! It was also great to meet a few new A.C.T. 300ZX faces! However, I think the biggest thanks of the day goes to Madcow's awesome partner for the fantastic spread she cooked and prepared us all for lunch - the sausages and steaks were perfectly cooked, and your cold pesto pasta with sundried tomato was one of the best cold pasta's I've ever had! :drool: Thanks again to you both for hosting today's events... :thumbup: Cheers, Lil' Baz..... :zlove:

It was an awesome day, and even more awesome was the pesto pasta! Thanks heaps again for the great food and drink. How did you go locating that oil leak andrew??? where was it coming from?
yeah pretty sure its the exhaust cam seal on the drivers side. also discovered another nasty with the water pump! so gonna get that fixed too.
GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!!!! found the oil leak. wasnt the cam seal! due to my own stupid self. and the lenth of time i have had this car. i missed a cam cover bolt. the one on the bottom front so it looked like the cam seal!
yeah still gonna go thru, the seals were slightly weeping. some clown put a paper gasket on the water pump. i put the bolt back in, but i think im gonna have to remove the top manifold again to reseal that cam cover. since its had oil in it already it wont seal properly. thinking another tech day! :zlove:
