My air con drain seems to be blocked as it isn't dripping on the ground at all. And I can't seem to find where it should be coming from.

Does anyone know where it is?

    Please an thank you

One of the bad parts of Z32 design. It virtually drips on the passenger side turbo. Mine was blocked when I first bought the car. I pulled out the glovebox and part of the heater box assembly, and pushed a long cable tie through the drain hose. It turned out to be the remains of a grasshopper

tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

Pretty common problem to haver that drain hose block after time.
There is always dirt, dust, leaf litter and god knows what else that finds its way into the AC core since its first in line.
If a leaf or some grass lays there long enough and the dust gathers around, add a little moisture and it sets nice and hard and blocks the drain.

The result is often gurgling and sloshing of water in the evap case which will often splash around and make its way up the vents as well!
Can freeze in the core as well limiting airflow and in really estremem cases where the thermostat temp has been set too loow, it can freeze right up and the expanding block of ice can actually crack the evap core!

    Fun fun fun!.

Poking something up there should be part of regular servicing.

Often the cause of mysterious water "leaks" and smelly carpet in AC'd cars.

Use a old speedo cable centre or curtian cable centre and carefully push up from the bottom while wiggleling.

This is also worth checking.........recently my ECU died and it was caused by that drain hose not being plugged into the AC unit properly. Water was dripping directly down onto the area where the ECU is. Get down on your back on the passenger floor with a small torch. Look up behind the glove box and find a larger circular unit. You should be able to see a hose coming from the bottom side of that unit and going across to the firewall, which is the hose you are looking for. Make sure it is there and connected. It will run from the circular AC unit to the firewall and could also be useful if you are trying to unblock. You can easily pull it off the circular unit and replace it, so if you are using a wire or the like to push through the pipe it might be better to do it from that direction.
