Yeah, if you are free saturday might be a good time to really have a good go at it and see if we can get an exact idea of what we are dealing with. At the moment I'm working on the assumption that I have a possibly OK set of heads and a big lump of scrap metal bolted onto the bottom of them, anything more will be a bonus I guess. The first term would definitely be in there somewhere at least once... Why is everyone trying to sell me turbo motors?!?! Thanks though Have not had much of a chance to look at it yet, saturday morning will be the first day I get a good go at it so I'll take the timing belt covers off and have a look. Phew! (I think) Up until I read your post of 11/2 re the silver slicky I assumed it was the burgundy beast that you had hydrolocked. I hope I was wrong!
I can't see a lil' Beams engine hauling around a Z in any way that could conventionally be considered fun. Besides, if it's a 2.0L NA that produces 200hp+ that you need to rev the nuts off to do anything at least keep in the family and go with an SR20VE. Ben
