hey guys got my 300 running last night, after leaving her off for a night we had he start again today (again with jumper leads) she had a rough idle today, come to start her tonight and now she wont go above 1000 rpm and if i pump the pedal lightly she gives a knock/pop noice in the area of the recirc valves....

any help about this is welcome and urged.

is there a computer limp mode or something that i may have tripped by jump starting her???

yer check your fault codes, clean your connectors, check spark and fuel pressure.

checked your alternator? Multimeter on your battery with it running. Should be seeing a range from 12.8-14.1V for a healthy alternator

anyone help me out with how to identify fault codes and what are they,

are they a beep or a light on the dash that flashes a certain amount of times?

ok guys, just for shits and giggles, my mechanic kris and my hubby had a brain fart and disconnected the airflow meter, to clean it apparently, and hubby didnt hyook it back up b4 mexxhanic started the car. turns out battery is getting 13.8 and the car idles beautifully without the airflow meter hooked up.

any suggestions, i know i need it hooked up to drive her.

I havent done it in a Z yet but its usually some lights a button on the ecu, which I believe is in the passenger footwell. Detailed info is in the repair manual in the tech section.
