    well since its the 8th now & this was shutting on the 5th fingers crossed the orders in... the aussies hovering around 99cents so thats good enough for me.

    agreed! ;)......but we still have to pay the balance at whatever the current exchange rate is at that tiime when it's due? Fingers crossed the $AUD stays up & that the whole process is a speedy one! :D

    Russ I was under the impression that the money would be due as soon as the group buy was finalised & the order placed. So if it was placed on the 5th then the final price would be calculated using that days exchange rate.

    Update

    OK just to confirm yes the buy is closed.

    ETA at this point (as originally posted) is still weeks, given manufacturing time and container freight time from Peru. Freight alone will be six to eight weeks so we are all going to have to be patient.

    The $869USD figure will be converted into an $AUD figure based on the exchange rate (bank rate not advertised market rate) that UAS got when making payment. I will advise this figure when I get the info back.

    Balance payments and freight (domestic) will be due when they are ready to ship.

    Mines good too.
    And stop sweating about the dollar, the states is in all sorts of trouble and our economy is solid. Parity will be the norm for a while I think.
