Just got back from the cruise! Best I've been on I reckon! Big thanks to Ash for organising, all worked out well and lunch was fantastic (bought me some of that magic lemonade wine stuff ) I didn't get any piccies, but hopefully someone (Gary) will put some up soon Pity some loser brought a riced up Lancer

High praise indeed young Chris :zlove: I'm sorry to have missed it as those roads are certainly amongst Qld's best. I just returned from 2,000 k's in NSW, never seen so many fixed speed camera's! Sydney is riddled with them! The Zed performed effortlessly, as usual.
Perfect Day What a perfect day it out to be! Made for one of the best birthdays EVER. The weather played it's part in making the cruise that even more special with only a little rain here and there. Kept temperatures down and prevented any overheating. Looks like I've been replaced in the way of crazy antics what with Johnny Yamasaki giving it a bit of sideways action at one stage as well. I LIKE IT. I must say it was very well organised thanks ASH... and such a great day all around. Great turn out and even better meeting some new faces, seeing plenty of the faces from the past as well. - Definitely a Cruise to remember. Who needs power steering or a speedo when you've got lots of twisties and a smile on the face from ear to ear. Can't wait to see the pics. Thanks everyone for the b/day wishes and a PERFECT DAY!!!! THE FOUR MOUNTAINS CRUISE - A DAD AND DAUGHTER SPECIAL ...... Simply put, one top cruise and a great day indeed ...!!!!! many thanks to ASH and BURP'IN GARY for the tremendous effort they put in to make this cruise one of the best ever ... thank you, A and G ...... 10 hours, door to door, and 400kms has me a little shagged at this point ... and that included my first tour through the CLEM7 tunnel on the way home .. took one road too early for the G/Coast turn off .... !!!!! and a fine collection of Zed32s to make the day plus 350s and 370s .... yes, folks that was one hell of a cruise .....
great day thanks heaps the day meet some new people was great... sorry had to leave before mt mee but Johhnys flat was a pain and then his spare wouldnt fit kept grinding on the brake calipers so we ended up pumping his flat up with a little air compressor from one of the house out there all in all a great day and i 2nd fates comment about johnny lol
Looks like I went on the wrong cruise today. I went with the ausrotor boys to Bribie Island, good bunch of people, nice bbq near the beach. Just a pity about the drive there and back. Stinky 2 stroke oil, petrol fumes, uncomfortable old mazda's and heaps of noise, brap brap brap all the way. About 3/4 way there, my mate driving his RX4 says we should have done the aus300 cruise instead, not to sure about taking the old mazda over the mountains but

Thanks to everyone who attended!! I think it was one of the biggest cruises we have had with approx 25ish cars and 36 people. Was great to see some new faces and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. The roads were great and the weather held off for the most part.... Even the traffic was quite nice to us. Mikey I was going to suggest to make this an annual event as well. Hopefully next year our alternate route wont be flooded and we will have some even better roads!! I hope everyone enjoyed the lunch - something a bit different with some lessons on wine tasting and some samples before lunch. Bring on the pics!!!

You can't comment on what what you don't understand Kudos to Ash for organising the day but like I mentioned before, it's just not for me anymore.
