.. most surprising after all the recent noise about lack of cruises ... so now is the time TO BE IN IT ...!!!!

NOTE FOR LADYZ ... Rob has been in Sydney for some days on family matters ... due to return to the coast mid-week and not sure whether he will be free to make the cruise ....

yep, skinny boy ... the Somerset/Mt Glorious cruise used to be a regular, an annual event ... and Ash has added brilliantly to that ... the drives in that area are TOPS .....

.. I just find it disappointing that the northerners make great efforts to come south and, in this case, where Ash has gone to great lengths to create something special, we of the south have failed to reciprocate ... sad ...

 

I'd go but all my mates here in aus300zx wont travel that far, they wont even travel around the Gold Coast lol and no psa wants to ride that far. 9am or whatever the meet time is, I'd be leaving the Goldy at like what 7am?

 

That's Baz's point .....What time do you think we leave when we go on a Gold Coast cruise?? Certainly not after 7:30... Why not come and make some new aus300zx mates.... its not all about sticking to the 5-6 people you know... the forum is about making new friends and admiring others rides. You don't need a PSA most people coming don't have one.

 

Well said Ash. I guess Mclovin certainly wouldn't be able to handle one of our epic Easter Zedfest cruizes then hey Ash?!

I've been on countless cruiZes over the 6 years i've been on this forum. 99% of which have been in Brissie, or sunshine coast, or gold coast. - and that's with me driving from Greenmount which is a further 2hrs west of Brisbane.
(and not to mention our ~1,500+km round trip cruiZes to and from Zedfest locations in NSW we've had)

If i wasn't working this weekend I'd be joining you guys in a flash. I love any excuse for a nice day full of driving my Zed with other good people, as that's what it's all about. :zlove:

 

Until Baz mentioned meeting up at BP it was simply out of the question since its got to be nearly a 2 hour drive to the meet point and I have no idea where it is.

At least I'm honest about it, where are all the other Gold Coasters?

 

holy macaroni ..... BP Coomera has been our Northern cruises meet point for at least my 6 years on the Forum ... Brenton's "mangroves to mountains", crazyboy's 6 hour wonder Sunshine cruise and many others all with a 7:00am or so meet up ....

and as for Coonbarraban, lol, i think was a 5:00am departure ...

toughen up, young 'uns .... if old man Baz can crawl out of bed before his usual 10:00am daily effort, anyone can manage it .... lol....
