    Hey all

I just did a little top up of coolant using rain water just until my pay day, now when i drive around town or on the open road, and the car is turned off, you can hear it bubble or as druggies call it, bong on... anyway there is nothing leaking or spilling out and the temperature guage sits half way

    is this normal?

Mine done that before I found out it was a leaky radiator cap.

sounds like the famous AIV gurgle ... if so, nothing to worry about ...

.. if you want to remove/stop the gurgle, i believe there is a "fix" covered in the tech section ... personally, i enjoy it ... lol...

no but ill start with replacing the radiator cap. sometimes here a squeak from there so could be air leak or something

Definately a leak in the system as the coolant is boiling due to no pressure or could be the lack of coolant if you are just using water
