WA October 17th Mundaring Weir BBQ - Family Friendly

Time to lock in the details, here is the travel plan. If you havn't expressed your interest and want to, please vote for the date you wish to attend! The dates will remain available to vote for for another 2 weeks, after that it will be locked in but looking at the results now it looks to be the 17th.

BYO Your own drinks, I will be supplying Sausages, Buns, Sauce (BBQ and Tomato), Onions, Cheese. If you want anything other than Sausages then please BYO specific meats aswell.

Meet Time: 12pm (lunch)(leave their approx 12.30)

Route:
Start (BP Petrol station the really big truck one) Abernethy Rd, Kewdale, WA
End Mundaring Weir Rd, Paulls Valley, WA

Their will be a cruise from mundaring weir after lunch and anyone who wants to accompany can feel free which will leave off at approximately 3-3.30pm. The secondary run will take approximately 2 hours to complete. From BP to Mundaring tho is just a cruisey 30 minute drive.

Looking forward to this guys, see you at the tech day being held the previous weekend and at this event!

Would the zig zag, lookout road be included in the trip?
I live in the hills and can help out with suggested routes if you like. There's some twisty roads through Helena valley. Very quiet too.

Would love to come along, but can I suggest we go to the Mundaring Hotel? My boss on site also owns the hotel. They make an award winning steak sandwich and have a nice beer garden

Hi, as I stated in the Tech day thread, I'm new to Perth and only got my 300ZX and few months ago. It should be out of the Mechanic's in time for the meet. I would love to attend and become involved with the local Z owners of W.A.

May I suggest a bit of a detour off great eastern highway and go through John Forrest national park? It hooks back up to the highway.
A bit bumpy but a twisty road and very quiet.
