o.K YOU GOT ME THERE in regards to the Auto but back in 1998 there wasn't much of choice - I remember looking @ a total of 3 off in the whole of S.A Regards to better platform, History proves itself. COME ONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I have to list them out. The mighty STILLEN IMSA Champion - 2+2 - Ka-ching. UAS might SLOT CAR - 2+2 - Ka-ching. The Title winning - WYKKED mobile - 2+2 - Ka-ching. Then theres the mythical unicorn - (2ZXTRM) - 2+2 - Ka-ching -(I think).
All just ladies in waiting - with tongue firmly in cheek! :br:  Now, is 2ZXTRM a unicorn, or a Phoenix?
Trev, consider yourself excellent at providing incentive to 2 seater owners ! Will be a while before I can take that incentive and do something with it though ...
Ha Ha - good one! Reminds me of a comment that Alf Bargwanna made to me when he lunched his XU-1 engine at Mallala - "Wouldn't that tear the lace on your frilly nightie?"
All just ladies in waiting - with tongue firmly in cheek! Exactly - Fairlady's Look at it this way. long wheel base = Long Lucious Gorgeous Legs. :zlove: Short wheel base = Short Stumpy Legs. Simple really If you like short stumpy legs - each to their own. Mallala sound like its going to be a cracka.
Just to get back on topic a bit. In between rain showers (In Adelaide, the State Govt is considering building an ark! ), I've been poking and prodding the new acquisiton. Apart from 'end of lifing' a couple of rear wheel bearings and a set of tyres on the trip back - I have to say, the Newell Highway down from Brisvegas to Moree has some of the nastiest and most sudden dropoff potholes I've ever seen - some I wouldn't even ski off - we found a few positives. On ConZult on the way back, we found out that the ECU speed limit had been increased, indicating an aftermarket ECU or rechipped one. I pulled the cover off when we got back, and found out that a Blitz ECU has been fitted. Dunno what they're like, but this car seems to have reasonable low down torque. It also averaged 10.4 litres per 10 km on the trip, with one slow and one very lazy O2 sensor - and Audiobuzz driving . Also, I walked past the back of the car today, and thought - that "300ZX' logo looks a bit translucent. Sure enough, it has an illuminated rear panel. Not working, but the invertor sounds like it's working OK. Probably the usual issue with the wiring to the EL panel breaking. Hopefully, I'll find a few more goodies on the way.
