Hi, This is just a quick warning. I was considering buying from JSA in Preston recently. Their website has a "Australian Standard Quality Endorsed Company" logo on it. I checked with SAI Global. They are no longer certified. Here's a statement from SAI Global: "Please be advised that this company was once certified with SAI Global, however their certification has lapsed and are no longer. " Cheers, cru1sr
Dude, the first thing you learn when looking to buy a car, is DO NOT EVEN VISIT JSA. They are the lowest, i drive past them everyday. Cars look good, ive been in many times and anything that looks like a good buy is JACKED up in price, and everything else WILL fall apart on you. Workers there are a bunch of ****wits too, the owner is a dick. I cant believe, and feel sorry for the idiots that buy cars from there...
Maybe they couldn't justify the expense of ongoing certification; it's not cheap. They should, however, remove the certification logo from their website.
Thanks for the advice URHYNS. Always good to hear what other owners' experiences are like before jumping in.
I had a look at their cars a couple of years ago. They looked good from a distance but once i got up close the where fairly rough. A lot of little thing that added up to me thinky they weren't well looked after. Missing small parts and rusted bolts e.c.t. Just couldn't find one car in the yard that didn't have bits missing ?. Just my impression. The Aus Standard thing could just be that it cost to much for the return so they let it slip. ( they should not be using it now though ). Just my thoughts on them. Cheers dave
years ago it use to be called MSA which was in High street Thornbury. Cut a story short the owners had a falling out so one of them made JSA. As what others have said i would not even buy a car thru them. Not only are they over priced you really dont know what you are getting.
Agree with all of the above they are absolute crap! ive been there a few times sure the cars look fany with body kits, huge wings and rims, but they all are crap quality and im suprised on how they are still operational.
