EOI: Mundaring Weir BBQ - Family Friendly

Hi guys, i know i havn't been on here long (a week lol) but i noticed for WA there has been 25 days since the last event... well the last one posted in this section, so id like to see who's up for a Mundaring Weir cruise and lunch bbq!

Basically to give me and some other newbie members a chance to meet and greet all you fine young/middle/old men and women.

I was thinking possibly make it so we end up at mundaring weir for 1pm and hold a sausage sizzle and BYO meat if you want something snazzy day.

As for date, im thinking 2nd of October when it starts to get a bit warmer and hopefully have nice blue skies with a chance of an awesome turn out. also give the targa's a good chance to get naked.:br:

Post up if you think this would be a good day and your interested in coming etc.. etc..! other organisers would be appreciated if this goes ahead.

Always 'up' for a cruise and a BBQ. Just one thing, the 2nd is a Saturday, maybe the 3rd might be better as some have to work etc.

 

love to come along, but as mentioned in eoi i canonly really do arvos, so if its in the afternoon , im in, otherwise , out sadly.

alright, i've added in a poll to sort the date out, also bumped it up a week as the major event would probably have no patrons *hehe* *wishes* so vote away and let the best date win!

What ever weekend is decided, if I'm not working we will attend. Will bring the zed this time, Got the paint on yesterday . well most of it anyway .

Looks like this is starting to pick up interest

Make sure to vote on the date you are able to attend so i can organise more efficiently!

Route and stops will be organised and finalised prior to 1 month before the day to give everyone a chance to get ahold of the route and know the overall plan for the day!

Also - The gf has a professional camera (something like 24 megapixel or some blah blah) and she will be bringing it along. If you ask nicely maybe you can get some HD snaps for a photo frame or 2

Bump - Just over a month away, time to lock in the details, here is the travel plan. If you havnt expressed your interest and want to, please vote for the date you wish to attend! The dates will remain available to vote for for another 2 weeks, after that it will be locked in but looking at the results now it looks to be the 17th.

BYO Your own drinks, I will be supplying Sausages, Buns, Sauce (BBQ and Tomato), Onions, Cheese. If you want anything other than Sausages then please BYO specific meats aswell.

End Mundaring Weir Rd, Paulls Valley, WA

You should really distribute the route on the day... ah well let's see how many coppers follow ya

 

Its a family friendly day. not interested in hooning at all just a nice cruise. People who wish to hoon do it at their own peril.

 

you need to finalise a date and get it into coming events asap, so that people can start making plans etc.....youve got enough votes now to make a decison on date, one way or the other, your running it, you decide whan it happens within reason!
