Hi all, as noted very reluctant sale, but we are moving to Hervey Bay early next year once our new home is finished being built, estimated at being January/Feb 2011.

The Zed has been an important part of our lives for the last 9 years and we have made many friends and associates relating to the Zed community during this time but the time is coming to part with her.

Comments:

Generally very good condition and clean throughout. We have only used it for social meetings with the Zed community and it has always been garaged whilst at home.
Won " As Nissan Intended" award at Zed fest at Coonabarabran meet

100,000K service done a few years back and is running perfectly.
Items replaced:
Timing Belt
All three Idler rollers and bearings
Thermostat
Water Pump
Small Bypass hoses behind thermostat housing.
Radiator rodded.
Nulon Long Life coolant
Stainless Steel bottom Radiator pipe
Top and Bottom radiator hoses.
Auxilliary belts for Alternator, PS and Air conditioning
New front brake rotors.
Rear brake rotors machined.
Bendix pads fitted
Brake fluid changed
Firenze 225/50 R16 92V SO3 Tyres about 10,000km use
Brant Alarm with remote locking and Ultrasonic sensors

Vehicle has never let us down and it has been serviced regularly even though low Kilometer usage. Car would suit a first time Zed buyer who is wanting to enjoy the feeling of driving a Z32 without a lot of ongoing expenditure unless they wish to start upgrading.

Known faults:
Minor damage to front lower bumper as seen in photos. TT bumper was fitted before we bought the car.
There is an intermittent fault with a Cat Over Temp sensor causing the light to come on occasionally even though the car has just been started or maybe after half hour driving, other times never, so I have put it down to a faulty sensor or earth problem on the cable sheath.
Wear and tear to Drivers seat usual position.


Spares:

Currently running Platinum Spark plugs and runs perfectly but I have a set of new Iridium plugs for it.
2 off New NGK Oxygen sensors.

There are other items which are listed separately which can be negotiated as a package if needed.

It is plain to see that you love your zed by the way you maintain it. Good luck with the sale and all the best for the future. Buying a house is a big investment and well worth it in the long run.

If we weren't building a new home we would not be selling, but I will not have room for it in the new house and with the 4WD and the daily driver and 3 rego's and insurance to pay for, it is just going to be too much for us.

As any one who has been through it, the cost of moving (especially interstate) and establishing a new home go on for a while after moving in, so I have to try and increase the bank balance by any extra cash we can raise, unfortunately there are going to be a few Garage sales and "chook raffles" coming up.

 

Beautiful zed. I would buy it interstate if funds allowed. What is the black mark on the drivers door?

 

seems to be in the same place on each door, i'm interested to know too. Some kind of reflector?

Nothing sinister, the "marks on both doors" are just self adhesive NISSAN badges. They were in fashion in 2002!!!!

Sorry to see her go but I think she is going to a good home. Young P plater getting a present from Dad (thats if he can get it from Dad, think he enjoyed the run in it).
