Hey just thought i would post up some pics of my first car stereo install never had an after market one before so im really happy with it lol.

    Head unit: Pioneer DEH-5250SD

    Front speakers: TS-A1673S

    Rear 6x9: Eclipse SE8495

    Subs: 2x kicker 12"

    Amps: Sub- Alpine MRP-M1000
    6x9- Acoustic 320W

I am really happy with the job that was done maybe not the nicest looking install but its neat and thats wat i wanted and i can still fit bags of groceries in the boot ;) lol

I was able to keep the stock front speaker covers where they are so i was happy with that, im really happy with the whole system, im yet to tune anything and already it sounds great i listen to mostly rock songs and was worried that it was going to be to much bass but its not so im happy :)

    PICS

Make sure its all secured down. Bolted or strapped...... but.... you have to still have access to your spare tyre. Learned that little Qld ruling the hard way :(

Yeah its all secured down by access to your spare tire does it count if it takes like 5mins to get to it or does it have to be right away??

been meaning to ask someone this since im putting a system in this month. seems like a good opportunity to ask how badly things rattle with the sub going? ways people have worked around this?

I also wondered this as im sure you would have heard some cars rattle really badly while in the car and also out, in my zed i haven't noticed anymore then before so im really happy some other zeds maybe different also over time im sure mine will start to rattle lol.

I only notice rattle if the subs are running really loud (not normal listening volume) My subs are firing directly up at the hatch though (about 50mm from the hatch itself) so I could probably fix that with some sort of sound deadening material on the plastic hatch trim ^_^

Zeds in general don't get much rattle from stereo stuff I've noticed, apparently they have really good stock sound deadening, and the hatch itself is heavier than a normal sedan's boot ^_^

awesome thanks. im not expecting much of it, since budget and space constraints, ie i still need a boot, mean im not putting in anything huge
