Actually, I think it's about time that we come to realise that Zeds are beautiful-looking and, mostly, highly desirable vehicles. That most of us know just how expensive they are to have repaired (because of the lack of experienced workshops) and maintained (parts costs) is probably what keeps their sales prices so low. Compared with features available on even modern cars, Zed technologies are outstanding. Very few of us who have bought a Zed have not spent considerable sums on maintenance and upkeep and it is usually this that dictates a decision to sell (and cut our losses??). Perhaps if we readjust our thinking and develop a better attitude towards our cars our re-sale prices might just adjust themselves upward to reflect the true worth of what is, after all, a pretty hi-tech and desirable ride.
No matter what problems my car throws up (and there are a lot!) I still get a buzz every time I drive into the local car-park and some young kid/s point and comment to their Mums about the car... I'm sure you've all experienced the same. Let's re-think the value of our cars in a more positive way... :):)

This car i have dyno tuned about 2 yrs ago has about 50 more kilowates at wheels also have spent alot of money on car...
extras, parts, and making it the nicest car to drive...
so the price is higher then most zeds because as you can see this car i have spent alot of money on and its a well maintained zed serviced every 5,000kms

You never know, give it another 5 years and it might begin being a collectors item considering people my age (19) buy them then crash them, take the insurance money and buy something horrid like a falcodore. If I crashed mine, I'd be just buying another one, never had as much fun in any other car as I have with the 300zx.

Ease up with the criticism people. Every time somebody advertises a Z32 over $15000....$10000 even, there is somebody here, a fellow owner, who cuts them down. Doing no service to ourselves with potential future value if even we are lowballing these cars.
Best of luck with the sale

    To me,
Z32's seem more like a sentimental car,
rather than something you'd buy because of its "worth"

If you buy a zed and expect to sell it in 5 years for the price you bought it for. Then you're a tool.

If you spend 9k on mods. And expect to be able to sell it with 9k added on the price tag. Then you're a tool.

Z32's are a passion. Money spent on them is gonna go down the toilet, but that's the price you pay.
That's the downside to owning these beasts.

That's just how the cookie crumbles.

    yeah thats definately true OZX-320
There are too many jealous people out there
and if i want to sell it for that price there is a meaning for it
thankyou it should sell soon had a few good offers::)

This is the car that got me into zeds and led me to the forum.
I can vouch for how clean this is :) Even though i have never spoken to the owner, i walk past this car (and have a perve on it) almost every day.

The only thing that i have seen that is wrong with it is the little GReddy sticker on the rear bar is peeling a bit.

Love the car mate, hope you get what you're asking for :)
p.s. I live on coolong, just around the corner from you :p
