This is my first post so I hope I get it right. Not sure if grandmothers are aloud to do posts but here goes. Always wanted a black 300 and 3 weeks ago spotted a 95 model on the net in Melbourne. My husband flew to Melbourne and drove it back. He knows nothing about 300zx and it has no manufacture date plate on it or service history. Went to Morley Nissan to have a service and get the timing belt changed but because it is an import they will not touch them. Where can I get this work done here in Perth?
yup, pzp for z32 work is great, be prepared for a healthy bill though, they are not a cheap car to maintain, but worth it when they are running well....toms prices are competitive as well, there are cheaper mechanics out there sure but you get what you pay for!

All I can say is well done, you got the car from Melbourne to Perth! you have done more K's in your z than me and I have had mine for 2 years Where in Perth are you, if you have any future headaches a member close by may offer to lend a hand.
really? i did way more than that (km wise) in my first month of owning mine. dont get how anyone can not want to make long trips in their zed on a regular basis just for fun. I bet your husband loved the drive, are you sure you're going to get a chance to drive now he knows how good it is?
Thanks for all the replys, its good to know that there is help out there. Will ring Tom tomorrow about a service for the 300 zx. Yes my hubby did enjoy the drive . He arrived in Melbourne at 12 noon on Tuesday and caught the bus to Spencer Street then the train to Clayton where he test drove the car and then around 3pm started heading back to Perth. First nights stop was in Horsham in Vic then the 2 night was Ceduna in SA then Perth. The last leg was a little over 2000 k in 1 day. We live in Bassendean.
