Less than 6 months old. Includes the 300ZX plug-in adapter. Surplus to needs (I have two). Does not include laptop adapter or software. Asking $1100 + $10 shipping in aus.
Very interested. Questions: is it ready to plug and play? Bar a few minor things... Why are you selling? Was it on your car prior to sale? If so, did u have any cold start issued? what other mods do u have and what power did you put out using this comp against the standard one? No hand controller? sorry bout the interrogation... Elie
Answers Answers: It's plug and play bar a few minor things. It will need a good tune since it is MAP sensor based - a vacuum line needs to be run from the intake manifold to the sensor, not a big deal. I am selling because I already have one. Long story short; my car got stolen and totaled and I had not had a chance to fit it yet. The motor in my last car was "very worked" so I salvaged the engine out of the wreck and bought another Z. The new Z had the Microtech fitted and tuned by the previous owner. I've removed it and am running the stock ECU until I re-transplant my other engine in and put my microtech which is also fitted with a larger 3bar MAP sensor. There aren't any cold start issues I'm aware of - Ask Chili, he's running one daily on his Z. One thing's for sure - the idle control on the Microtech is not as good as the stock ECU, but if you plan on racing sometimes there are compromises. The previous owner said he was putting down 180rwkw on stock boost (9psi). No hand controller - the laptop adapter is available from Microtech for $90 AUD + shipping
Microtech LT12s with 300ZX plugin adapter; it was removed from the car after I bought it and had been tuned for a stock 300ZX. Asking $700.
Damn good price! Sold one a long while ago that went for $600 iirc. Less the adapter. Ended up needing a joint resoldered too, to my unbeknown. $700 is a steal. Good luck.
