Hi guys i was gonna go to the petrol station right now, and my car dont want to start, thing is that i used yesterday and it was runing fine, it goes like it turns but just that, could it be becouze is so bloody cold outside? sorry if i cant give any more imformation, any though would be helpfull, thans
Bypass PRVR on the passenger side of the engine, run a single hose between the points on the plenum. That's my guess.
Series 1 PTU can die at any time more likely to be that. Check the tech section for PTU replacement and also do a ecu diagnostic to check for error codes. Thats in the tech section also.
yeah ive got a spare ptu there taht i gonna try, im over ptu´s already ive change it twice already, ive got a s2 here but with tafe i just havent had the chance to put it in, ill try the s1 ive got here this afternoon and see if thats the probleme, now im going to tafe to finish up my assignments, thanks guys.
I was just wondering..I've had a couple of similar issues like this myself...zed would be starting fine with no issues..then next time I go to start it, it turns over but wont start..then eventually it will just start and run well for a good few weeks again?? This has happened 3 times now..
1 of 1 million possible electrical problems, renee ): try here: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300516
Is the engine turning over Ok? If not then could be the battery. On cold mornings the battery can struggle if it's not in good condition. One that turns the engine over ok on a normal day can struggle in the cold. Even if the engine is turning over there may not be enough power left to provide a good spark as well.
nahh the battery is onley few months old, but who knows could be some electrical issue f+**ing the battery
is not the ptu, i just changed for the spare one and it is doing the same thing, i tryed to turn it on while presing the accelerator, it sord of want to start but stalls. also the thermo fun comes on while i was trying to turn it on.
hahhaha LOL that would be so funny, i actualy checked it this morning though, i was in the doubt but yeah it steel have half tank.
So Is it turning over normally and just not starting, or is it just clicking? My batt went flat the other night, started that day fine, tried to start in the morning and no deal. No lights were left on and the battery is brand new. I was a bit worried but It jump started straight away. In fact, It's probably gone flat again now . Its unlikely. but possible.
Thermo fan coming on probably means the ECU isn't getting a signal from the coolant temp sensor. Check the connector & reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery over night.
good news guys, probleme solve, thanks sim 300 followed ur advice of the battery, unpluged this morning, just came from tafe pluged it straggles a bit but it when on, i just clean few conectors, the diagnost was giving me so much errors ay, it was the temeperature sensor, the bloody code 34 wich i have to fix when the plenum pull, and code 21 wich was the tpu clean all those cables and she is runing so smooth, thanks all guys for u advices.
