    Just brought a hail damaged 93 TT Z32 2+0 and I am a new Z owner
I need to source almost all panels(Looks like a golf ball but runs great).
    I have a few questions.
    1) I have heard that people import the front half of z's for the motor and may have panels. How do I source.
    2) Is it economical to source panels from o/seas and if so where?
    3) I'm in WA what is the best way to source panels
    Any help appreciated

Buy a good shell and swap the mechanical bits over. Even if you swap most of the panels over you will likely have a mulitcolour zed, and you can't swap the top of the roof and rear guarter panels without cutting and welding.

'93's are a bit rarer than the usual zed, but nothing that special. Not worth the effort IMO.

Your thinking about this all wrong. You have a car that looks like a golf ball.

    So

Paint it white and go sell it to a golf shop or minigolf as a promo car ( at a profit of course) and go buy a better zed.

what is the deal with entrepreneurs these days:p

replace the bonnet, front guards and maybe the hatch. The rest can be fixed by the paintless dent removal guy I expect.

Do it the other way around... buy a zed with a good body that is bad mechanically, and swap it all over.

You should be able to get a dead zed for around $1500, and still be able to get rid of enough other parts to maybe even break even. Maybe.

Paintless dent removal is only good for very small dents.
    Your options are:-
    * repair yourself then get a respray
    * swap panels over, sand it down, get a respray :)

EDIT: CFRP BONNET AND HATCH FTW!!!

They can fix surprisingly large dents, Hail damage is a speciality, unless you have seen them do it you wouldnt beleive what they can fix.

I have had a car fully repaired by a paintless dent guy after a hail storm.
The car had damage on every panel and he fixed it 100% perfect.
Im very very very fussy and only found one that had a small ripple.
So try a paintless guy first ,it wont be cheap but it will be a lot less than doing a change over.
