Blocked cat symptoms ?

What would be the symptoms of a blocked cat under acceleration ?

lack of power, unable to build full boost, extremely hot exhaust on the side with the blockage, no or little airflow from exhaust side with blockage(unless x pipe in place) stock cat sensors warning light on dash if still connected, possible rattle in exhaust from parts of broken cat.

The pulses out of the exhaust you feel by hand would be diminished on either or both sides for every second pulse at idle.

 

LOL. I had thought the exact same thing when I read the thread title.
